Veritas assessments follow the best practice guidelines set out by the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) and the Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network (SIGN). Therefore, a Veritas diagnosis will be recognised by public bodies across the UK.

Our multi-disciplinary clinical team review all of our assessments, so that you receive the reliability of an NHS diagnosis, without joining a waiting list.

I was really pleased with my experience with Veritas Assessments. As someone who has been waiting for over a year on an NHS waiting list, it was really important that I found a company who were thorough, detailed and offered a similar assessment process to that I'd receive on the NHS. Veritas did all of that. From the first point of contact through to the final feedback appointment, I quickly got the impression that they were professional, thorough with their process and very understanding and compassionate. They really listened to my concerns and looked carefully at all the evidence I'd provided which suggested that I could be autistic. It was really important to me that I was listened to after many years living with the suspicion that I was autistic. After receiving my diagnosis of autism, I was very impressed with the information and detail included within the report. The report reflected the information I'd given to the process. Even when there were minor adjustments required to the report, they were more than happy to do this for me. I'd like to thank Jo, Yvonne and Leoni for helping me to feel comfortable throughout the process. They put me at ease and answered all of my questions and queries no matter how big or small regarding the process. If it bothered me then they were happy to address it. Since receiving my diagnosis I have gone on to have my diagnosis with Veritas accepted by my local NHS Integrated Autism Service in Wales. They read my diagnostic report from Veritas and decided that an NHS assessment was not required due to the similarity between Veritas's autism assessment and their own autism assessment. Subsequently, I've still been able to access post-diagnostic support from the NHS as a result. In all this was something which was really welcomed by me and suggests that Veritas's autism assessment for adults is reliable and the outcomes are valid. In all a very good experience! I would highly recommend them if your considering them for an adult autism assessment.

Absolutely amazing service from Leoni and the team, completely faultless. After years of struggling with school and the LA, we had a diagnosis less than a month from initial contact. Very thorough report issued which included recommendations for ourselves and school, plus a follow us call to ensure we understood what it all meant and to go over any queries we had. As a family, we really can't thank Veritas enough for the difference they have made already.

Had a great experience with Veritas from first enquiry. Jo very helpfully discussed my concerns regarding my daughter and gave me helpful and honest information and advice. All of my questions were answered quickly and efficiently by Leoni. Both Jo and Katie were approachable, knowledgeable and empathetic. After being on the wait list for the NHS for 2 years already for a asd appointment and being told it will be 2 more years I decided to go private with Veritas.They have been absolutely amazing and had a diagnosis in about 5 weeks. Brilliant experience with Veritas for my teenage son. From my initial enquiry to the report being produced took less than 3 weeks. Very easy online process and opportunity for verbal feedback with offer of ongoing support. Could not recommend more.
